Winners Mental Health tool challenge
The official opening of the ELSA Living Lab Learning for the Future (E2.64) took place on November 11. Rector José Sanders unveiled the new name, CoLaboratory, and presented the prize to the winners of the Mental Health tool.
The ELSA Living Lab Learning for the Future recently invited all employees and students of the Faculty of Social Sciences (FSW) to develop an innovative Mental Health instrument, specifically aimed at students. Three winners were selected from the entries, they each won an amount of €2,000 for the development of the tool. We would like to congratulate the winners and wish them the best of luck!

Students can ask questions about their specific situations or simply explain their situation in three domains: public domain, buddy domain and an advisor domain. There is a fourth domain, namely the private domain. Students can choose to contact a specific student from their public discussion in private.

DecisionWise is a free mobile app which employs scientific insights from experts at the Behavioural Science Institute (BSI), Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour, the Donders Institute’s Decision Neuroscience Lab and the Radboud Center for Decision Science at Radboud University Nijmegen. At its core, the goal of DecisionWise is to make decision science knowledge and resources easily accessible to students. By incorporating elements of educational content, practical decision-making tools and daily engagement features, DecisionWise acts as a comprehensive decision support platform to empower young adults in making informed choices.
Team Work, Health & Performance / Supercharge Me
An engaging online quiz that students can use to test and improve their knowledge about recovery from stress. The quiz will be packaged as a website, which can be accessed through any browser. During the quiz, students will see several questions for which the psychological science of recovery provides clear answers. The quiz will comprise of multiple questions covering several themes; smartphone use, sleep, breaks and recovery activities.
